 The
Auglaize Aktion Club recently recognized their outgoing officers
who served the civic club during the 2007 - 2008 program year.
Pictured left to right are Scot Lynch (vice-pres.), Jason Potter
(Pres.), Allen McCarthy (Treas.), Carla Sprague (Sec.), and Patti
Connors (Treas.).
Outgoing officers
were awarded a certificate of appreciation along with a box of
chocolates and a carnation. The Auglaize Aktion Club was created in
the Spring of 2007 and is an affiliate of Kiwanis International and
encourages adults with disabilities to assume leadership roles in
their communities. The club also participates in the bi-annual
Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast and makes donations to local humanitarian
causes.
Newly-elected
officers are pictured left to right Mark Hardin (Treas.), Angie
Gossard (Sec.), Georgeann Rosengarten (Vice-Pres.), and Scot Lynch
(Pres.). The local club boasts 40 members and meets monthly at the
St. Marys Eagles Club.
